Job responsibilities:
- Work with software engineers to build Tesla’s internal tools for energy product design, permitting, and installation
- Develop and maintain applications and systems within the team’s scope
- Write clean, well-tested, and performant code
- Create unit and integration tests, collaborate with QA for regression testing
- Monitor system metrics, respond to alerts, and fix production issues
- Analyse existing systems and suggest technical improvements
- Work with product, design, and business teams to plan new features
- Communicate project estimates, dependencies, and blockers to stakeholders
- Oversee feature development from design to release
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and availability of applications
- Document new technologies and application functionalities
Qualification requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of web technologies like HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6, and DOM manipulation
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with React design principles and patterns
- Experience with front-end tools such as Vite, NPM, and Yarn
